Membership Benefits

MONTHLY MEETINGS

We hold regular monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at  6:00 p.m.  Unless otherwise posted, meetings are held at the Bangor  Public Library.  The meetings are free, open to the public and consist of announcements, followed by our featured speaker.  Occasionally, we  have open research evenings which gives everyone an opportunity to ask questions or discuss any research problems they may be encountering.   Be sure to check out the calendar of our upcoming meetings.

QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER

Our Society Newsletter, Penobscot Roots & Connections.  It includes items of general interest, research tips, membership updates, queries, meeting news and more.  Members are encouraged to contribute  material of interest to the Newsletter Director for publication.  Be sure to check out past issues of our newsletter.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Because you never know who might turn out to be your cousin or has some research experience that might help point you in a new direction, we encourage you to become involved with a network of family researchers.
